On December 16th of this year, Eltrim Kable joined the Cooperation Agreement for the Development of the Photovoltaic Sector.
The agreement was signed between public administration, dozens of companies, financial and insurance institutions, educational institutions, higher education and research institutions, and business organizations. The aim of this initiative is to support the development of the photovoltaic sector in Poland and maximize the share of the domestic photovoltaic industry in the supply chain.
The event was also attended by Francesco La Camera, Director General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).

The key areas covered in the Agreement include:
- development of the domestic photovoltaic equipment industry,
- development of new photovoltaic segments and integration of photovoltaic systems with the power grid,
- identification of barriers limiting the development of photovoltaics in Poland,
- educational and promotional activities related to the development of the photovoltaic sector.

The government has committed to, among other things:

- creating a stable legal environment,
- continuing consultations with other parties regarding changes at the national and EU levels,
- promoting local content for businesses, providing further financial support and tax relief,
- maintaining the renewable energy auction system,
- analyzing possible changes in grid infrastructure investments, and
- taking steps to expand educational offerings to meet the industry's staffing needs.

It's worth noting that photovoltaics is the renewable energy technology that is developing most dynamically in Poland.

According to data from the Energy Market Agency, as of the end of October 2021, there were 744,399 prosumers in Poland, and the total installed capacity in micro-installations was 5.089 GW.

ELTRIM KABLE has been contributing to the Polish photovoltaic market for five years: it offers cables dedicated to photovoltaic installations:

- from the ELT-Flex SOLAR family: designed for making connections between PV modules and between a set of PV modules and a DC/AC inverter (DC part),

- from the ELT-Flex POWER 1000 family: designed for making connections on the AC side between inverters or between an inverter and a transformer
