Application
Steelaluminium bare conductors for overhead power lines. They consist of a steel core in the form of a single wire or stranded steel wires, galvanised (for corrosion protection), surrounded by one or more layers of hard aluminium wires. For improved protection against weather, the spaces between the steel core wires and aluminium are filled with a special lubricant resistant to high temperatures.
