Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) No. 305/2011 of March 9, 2011 establishes harmonized conditions for the marketing of construction products (CPR - Construction Product Regulation). Among other things, it establishes the rules for CE marking of construction products and establishes the obligations of economic operators who place products on the EU market. Another action by the European Parliament was to extend the scope of the CPR to include cables and wires classified for their fire resistance. The regulation has been in force for cable manufacturers and suppliers in the EU market since July 2017.

Eltrim Kable makes every effort to ensure that the cables offered for permanent installation in buildings meet the requirements of the CPR regulation regarding fire safety.

We have tested numerous cables and wires for compliance with the requirements of the new Directive. As a result of this testing, we offer cables and wires in classes B2ca, Cca, Dca, Eca i Fca.
